Are you interested in how cities can learn more easily from each other, and in the development of common approaches to tackle city problems?
Our cities present significant challenges. By working together, we can enable common solutions to be delivered at scale. The Future Cities Catapult is launching the City Standards Network to work with the community of agencies that are developing standards and good practice guidelines for cities.
The aim is to support widespread uptake of the growing body of knowledge as to what works by:
- Enabling relevant standards and good practice to be more easily discoverable by cities and city solution providers
- Helping support collaboration between the different standards bodies and good practice agencies
- Ensuring that the specific requirements of UK cities are addressed by national and international standards and that UK companies are able to use international city standards to address global markets
- Helping users of city standards to share their experience of implementing standards, so that they can learn from each other and that this learning can be shared with standards organisations
We know we can only address these challenges by working with like-minded people and organisations and we want to learn with you how we can work together to better achieve these aims.
Please join with us to celebrate the launch of the City Standards Network.
There will be a networking light lunch from 1pm, with a programme of speakers and interactive sessions from 2 – 4.30pm.
