Third Thursday – Using IoT to solve Urban Challenges - ICRI Capstone

In this Third Thursday networking event you will learn about our Capstone project and get to experience our new Healthy Cities Exhibition.

Details

This Future Cities Catapult’s flagship monthly networking event will be focused on our Healthy Cities theme.

How can we improve health and wellbeing in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park?

Future Cities Catapult is collaborating with Intel Labs Europe, Imperial College and University College London on the Capstone project, demonstrating the ability of Internet of Things interventions to solve real urban challenges.

As we approach the end of the project, join us to hear about the insights we uncovered, learn about how the park aims to become a test-bed for innovation and cutting-edge technology and explore the experiments and interventions deployed to address these challenges.

Speakers:

Jennifer Daothong, Head of Strategy and Sustainability and Ben Edmonds, IT Programme and Change Manager, London Legacy Development Corporation.

Launch of new Healthy Cities exhibition at the Urban Innovation Centre.

We are also launching our new Healthy Cities exhibition, exploring this issue through projects including; Capstone, IScape, Sensing London and Things Connected.

Our focus explores the mental, physical and social aspects of cities and their impacts on people.

Complimentary drinks and canapes will be provided.
