SMEs and Start-ups

Co-Work

We are Future Cities Catapult, a global centre of excellence of urban innovation based in our state of the art Urban Innovation Centre in Clerkenwell, London. Our centre is a collaborative hub for urban innovators to work together to turn ingenious new technologies and processes into real products and services which can improve cities around the world.

As part of our commitment to UK SMEs and Startups, we have created the Catapult Carnet at the Urban Innovation Centre. Giving companies and individuals the opportunity to hot-desk as part of our scheme. An ideal place for SMEs from across the UK to work, offering world-class facilities, access to expertise and an environment that buzzes with energy and insight.

What is the Catapult Carnet?
The Catapult Carnet is a flexible scheme that grants its members access to the co-working space at the Urban Innovation Centre. It’s the perfect solution for people working in the innovation and cities sectors that need occasional use of a Central London office space.

After a one-off joining fee of £50, members can purchase a carnet which is a package of ten tickets for £250 (plus VAT). Each ticket allows access to a desk in the co-working Space for one day or two half days, from Monday to Friday.

Membership comes with other benefits including discounted hire of event spaces and use of the Urban Innovation Centre shared spaces . You will also be able to have access to other Urban Innovation Centre’s facilities (Wi-Fi, coffee and tea, printing, staffed and reception).

As a Catapult Carnet Innovator, you will have further opportunities to network with a variety of stakeholders working in the smart cities environment through access to our exclusive networking events, including Third Thursdays and other recurrent events. Please visit our events page to find out more.

Membership Criteria
To be eligible for the Catapult Carnet your product/service must be related to urban innovation. Its development will result in an improved quality of life in cities. Accelerators and incubators that work closely with urban Startups and SMEs are also eligible.
