Lunchtime Lecture 'Circular Cities: Strategies, Challenges and knowledge Gaps'

What is a circular city? How can it be delivered? What are the challenges to a circular urban transformation? What do we need to know in order to get there?

In this session we will present the findings of a two day workshop held by the Circular Cities Hub which invited a group of international experts (policy-makers, technical experts, businesses, academics, etc) to discuss these questions.

Speaker: Dr Joanna Williams, Senior Lecturer, The Bartlett School of Planning

Dr Joanna Williams s particularly interested in the dynamic process of change in complex urban systems, with particular reference to the low carbon (but also the wider environmental sustainability) agenda. She is also interested in the geography of urban eco-innovation; and the management of and processes leading towards low carbon urban transitions.
