Data and digital technologies are rapidly changing the way we plan and manage our places. Keeping up with the pace of change is a challenge to local authority officials, businesses and other stakeholders working in the city. The Future Cities Catapult, in partnership with the British Standards Institution, have published a series of best practice leadership guides.
This session will introduce these standards, and two new and timely guides for data sharing in cities, in response to new GDPR, and on developing and delivering smart projects and proposals.
Join us as we discuss emerging challenges in these areas and implications for Cardiff, what the guides set out to address and how you can use them in practice.
This session will be of interest to local authority data, digital teams, service and project managers, and innovation/transformation teams and SMEs.
