We want to find talent in urban innovation wherever we can, so we’ve set up a series of industry placements, sponsored PHDs, apprenticeships and traditional secondments to help us find the right person, whatever they’re doing right now.
A secondment is a short-term opportunity that lets you join our team for a defined period, before going back to your usual post when the secondment is (sadly) over. You’ll be an expert from an external company or university that comes to the Catapult to help us solve a specific problem.
We’re currently busy setting up a structured annual internship programme across all of our teams. But for now, we’d love to hear from you if you’d like to intern with us over the coming months.
We always like new perspectives on our work, and we think that interns like you – whether you’re a recent graduate or someone looking for a change of direction – help us think in fresh ways. Obviously, you’ll be hard-working, open-minded and want to change the world.
Our internships usually last between 2-3 months. We’ll advertise specific opportunities in our teams as they arise on our Current Opportunities page, as well as through social media and a network of partner organisations.
We are proud to announce that our internships are paid opportunities, based on the London Living Wage. If you’re seeking for an Industry Placement through your university programme, just follow the same process of application.
If you can’t find a suitable opportunity advertised
We welcome all aspiring bright minds to express their specific interest through a speculative application. If we’re impressed by your potential and have a good opportunity for you, we might be able to make something work.
Our internships are paid opportunities based on London Living Wage.
